Our Principal
Tonya Kelly, M.Ed., proudly serves as the Principal of Mason Run High School in Columbus, Ohio. As a graduate of Eastmoor High School, Principal Kelly has deep roots in the East Side community and grew up in the same neighborhood that Mason Run serves today. Her personal connection to the community fuels her passion for ensuring that every student has access to opportunities, support, and a pathway to success.
With over 11 years of teaching experience and a Master of Education degree, Principal Kelly has dedicated her career to serving students and families throughout Columbus. She is a strong advocate for educational equity, family engagement, and community partnerships, believing that student success is built through meaningful relationships between schools, families, and the broader community.

Principal Kelly is committed to offering students a fresh start through small class sizes, live instruction, flexible pathways to graduation, and opportunities to recover credits and get back on track toward earning a diploma. She believes every student deserves a second chance and a supportive environment where they can overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
Beyond academics, Principal Kelly is a dedicated community and family advocate, working to create meaningful opportunities for families to engage with the school through Family Huddles, parent conferences, community partnerships, student celebrations, and school-wide events. She believes that when schools, families, and communities work together, students thrive.
